Dave Webb was the other player to hear '180' called after throwing in his individual success, which was at the tail end of three straight wins for the defeated side to make the score line respectable.
Grenville's Dave Meyrick added a 180 in a 9-4 win at Cherry Tree whilst Victory tied for second with a 13-0 triumph at Ker St A to setup a winner take all matchup between themselves and Kings Tamerton for runner-up.
Glyn Wells won in that Victory whitewash and himself, as well as Tradesmans B's Steve Marker, could mathematically force a four way tie at the top of the singles with Octagon's Simon Washington and Burns.
Sparing an unprecedented feat from anyone else in the league, Burns already has the most 180s crown in his grasp, and it's in his own hands to make it a unique double with the individual title.
