Lang, Bang, Thank You Nathan!

Nathan Langdon's twelve ton haul catapulted Colebrook Inn to an 8-3 win over Ker St in the Plymouth City Super League.

Despite ending the wrong side of a big defeat, Roger Bailey showed his class with ten ton plusses and a 17 dart leg in his 3-1 loss to Langdon.

Fred Lamerton's sole leg he took in a defeat by the same score line also came with a moment of magic as he nailed 126 in a single visit for the highest checkout of the week beating teammate Ralph Lancaster's 101.

Antony Hayman top scored with twelve three figure scores in a 10-1 win for King Billy over Victory C as Mark Yeoman was also in excellent form for the current champions.

Yeoman's ten ton total was accented by a maximum and a 103 checkout whilst Paul Goundry checked a leg in 17 during his 3-1 win over Jason Goldsmith.

Goldsmith was prominent throughout the match having reached double figures in tons; a feat matched by teammate Lee Lagor who did so with the help of a maximum.

Andy Malinowski and Dave Johns led their Kings Arms B team to a brilliant 10-1 win in their visit to Hyde Park as both players notched eleven three figure scores.

Malinowski didn't stop there with his contributions to proceedings as he checked 95 and finished a leg in 15 darts during his 3-1 singles success.

Roger Backway was also in sparkling form; becoming the third of the six on display for the Oreston side to reach double figures in tons with a haul of ten.

George Beckett's eleven ton plusses went some way to deciding the outcome of the Steampacket's 6-5 success away at Saltram.

Phil Taylor also showed his class with a brace of maximums and a 100 checkout during a 3-0 success; an effort that was only beaten by Neal Hotchkiss' 110 kill.

Mike Connell added the Devonport side's third 180 of the tie before Marc Webber won the match with an accomplished 3-0 win whilst the scores were locked at 5-5 going into the last singles rubber.

Simon Kelly was the best performer for the defeated team as he reached ten tons on what was a disappointing night for his side.

Glenn Halford (30.67) ripped through his 3-0 win in just 17 visits to the board as he reeled off legs of 16, 18, and 15 darts during Bluebird A's 9-2 win over Fawn A.

Halford also top scored with eleven ton plusses, including a 118 checkout that was one of three out shots of a ton or more in the match.

Simon Stevenson's 116 checkout aided him to a leg in 15 in his 3-0 whilst Mark Hempsall threw a 120 in a 3-1 loss for the Greenbank side.

Eleven tons from Mark Hopkins wasn't bettered by any of the twelve players on display in St Levan's 6-5 win over Duchy A that was won by a last tie deciding win from Harry MacGregor.

An 11-0 win for Victory A over Duchy B saw Matt Chegwin and Paul Gavican as the shining lights for the Honicknowle side with a brace of maximums and a 123 checkout respectively.

Colin Sloman checked 120 in a single visit in a 3-2 win but found himself on the wrong side of a 6-5 defeat as Kings Arms A were bested by Clifton.

After the first ten games were shared, Ross Blake got his team over the line with a 3-1 success in the final match of the night.

Lee Hunter checked 95 and Heather Toney struck the only maximum but fell on the wrong side of a 6-5 loss as Victory B were beaten by Cherry Tree.

The game would come down to the very last throw of the dice for both sides as Nick Miller got the better of Hunter in a 3-1 success.

Raffles secured a 7-4 win in their visit to Victoria with Alec Turner's 96 finish in his 3-1 singles triumph providing a rare moment of magic in the match.

Vince Scallan's 87 checkout was the only noteworthy contribution from both sides as the Bluebird B got the better of Fawn B by an 8-3 score line.
