Keith Carter (27.83) provided the flames for Plymouth Open League Division A champions elect Beacon Park in a 9-2 win over Mainstone A that saw Carter nail a leg in 16 and a 180 during his 2-0 individual triumph.

Carter was joined in hitting a three treble visit by teammate Nick Bryant, who nailed the first one of the game in a doubles win.

Bryant was also a 2-0 winner in the individual phase with his best leg coming in 17 darts and the best combination checkout came from the arm of Stan Preen with a 78 kill.

Tom Moody's 180 was the only moment of magic between Cherry Tree B and St Levans in a match that saw the former triumph 9-2, whilst St Johnston A were downed by Lugger B 7-4.

Adam Fell's maximum gave Prince Maurice the platform from which to claim a 7-4 win in their visit to Pennycross.

An 11-0 win for Falstaff over Ker St C saw combination finishes of 108 and 90 from Alex Brown and Andy Tremaine, whilst the only 180 came from the arm of Melvyn German or the defeated team.

Checkouts of 88 from Matt Abbott and a 75 by Kevin Evans gave Royal Naval Arms two of the eight points they won in an 8-3 success at Prince Maurice FC.

Abbott's 18 darter proved crucial in his 2-1 singles success, whilst Sam Frampton's 98 combination usurped both aforementioned kills.

An entertaining 6-5 local derby win for Fortescue at Fawn A was ended by Richard Dawes' 2-0 win in the final singles rubber.

Davis' teammate Simon Moxham added an 80 checkout that was only bettered by an 84 by Bill Scannell for the victors, whilst Mark Sargeant and Dave Jones were clinical in the individuals.

Sargeant nailed an 18 darter in a 2-0 individual success, and a 2-1 success by Jones saw a leg plundered in 17, whilst the only maximum was added by their teammate Mark Hempsall.

In Division B, Ben Russell proved the catalyst behind Cherry Tree C's 8-3 triumph at Kings Tamerton with a 180 and a single visit checkout of 94.

Leaders King Billy A bagged a 9-2 win to extend their lead to five after a 9-2 win at Agaton A, which saw Ben Webb net an 8-3 checkout.

Owen Miles fired a 180 for title chasing Ker St B in a 6-5 win over Herbert, whilst A 105 three dart combination outshot by Terry Steer helped Mainstone B to a 9-2 home success versus Legends Lounge B.

Elsewhere, Bluebird were 6-5 winners over Stoke Inn, Queens Arms were 9-2 better than Cherry Tree A and Fawn B were the biggest winners of the week with an 11-0 triumph at Keyham Vaults B.
