Simon Stevenson (34.95) rocketed through his individual game in Legends Lounge B's Plymouth City Super League Division A defeat at Kings Arms B.

Stevenson fired two maximums in his 3-0 win, with legs in 11 and 13 darts, and left the oche after nailing 14 tons across the contest.

Matt Vosper reached ten tons for the defeated team, whilst Steve Mills top scored for the hosts with thirteen three figure visits.

Stevenson's opponent, Paul Carpenter, added a maximum as a riposte that turned out to be in vain, whilst checkouts of 90 and 112 were provided by Brad Simpson and Shaun Dring.

With the scores tied at 5-5 and 2-2 in the final singles rubber, Paul Hendy was the man to provide the magic to get his team over the line.

The divisional top two, Falstaff A and Raffles Diamonds, played out an outrageous contest, which finished 8-3 to the latter and saw Andy Bates top score for the victors.

Tons rained down from pretty much all angles, with Bates' eighteen tons the best, and he was well supported by John Mann, Lee Hellings and Fred Goldsmith all firing eleven.

Kelvin Rowe and Paul Goundry finished up with thirteen three figure visits for the defeated hosts, and Scott Cook put on eleven tons.

Goundry added a brace of 180s to solitary efforts from Rowe and Cook, whilst Mann and teammate Neil White both fired back.

Bates started his excellent ton total in a 2-1 doubles win when pairing with Ford, with Bates dealing out hammer blows of 160 and 133 checkouts to take the victory. The individual phase started with the best game of the night as Cook got the better of Mann 3-2 with no leg going beyond seven visits.

Legs in 16, 18 and 13 by Cook countered a 15 darter from Mann before Hellings was a 3-1 winner thanks in part to a 14 dart leg.

Bates continued his rich form with a 3-1 victory of his own that contained a leg in 17, whilst Goundry's 3-1 success saw him put up a 12 darter.

Goldsmith fired what turned out to be a crucial 17 dart leg on his way to a 3-2 victory over Rowe, who bagged an 18 darter in vain.

Raffles B's were on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat against Tradesmans, but not before Ryan Fuller contributed fifteen ton plusses.

Fuller's total included one of the three maximums as teammate Tony Reid and Dave Pethick from the opposition both added 180s.

Fuller was supported well by Danny Bull as he put together a ten ton haul, whilst Fuller also added to the highlight reel at the business end with an 18 darter that came in his 3-1 win.

Paul Hoare's 105 three dart combo bettered an 80 outshot from Jodie Hawton, which all came in a spell that saw the home team build leads of 3-1 and 5-2.

The final four singles games went the way of the away side, with Jacob Bentham finishing off a decent comeback with a 3-0 success in the final individual game.

Tyler Borthwick bagged twelve ton plusses overall but still found himself on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat as Raffles A were downed by Ship's Tavern.

Steve Towl provided the ammunition that guided his team to the triumph with tens that included one of the six maximums.

Cam O'Brien added to Towl's three treble visit with a brace of 180s, whilst Borthwick's maxi was joined by one each for the away team from Simon Wilbraham and Alex Truscott.

Wilbraham's aforementioned visit to the board came in a 3-2 success that saw the killer blow dealt with an 18 darter.

With the scores locked at 5-5, Frankie Stout stepped up to win the game in a final leg shootout 3-2 truimph to give his team the bragging rights.

Mike Whatley's twelve ton haul for Ford Inn that came during a 9-2 win at Duchy A contained one of the four maximums that were fired in the contest.

Whatley's stablemates Mark Shears and Dan Brazier added to a solitary three treble visit from Martin Dean for the defeated side.

Glenn Halford fired a trio of 180s on his way a twelve ton haul that guided Bluebird to an 8-3 victory in a visit to Ker St A.

Glenn Austin provided decent cover fire with eleven ton plusses overall, whilst Mike Evans and Peter Lamerton bagged maxis for the defeated hosts.

Two mid range checkouts provided the fireworks at the business end of legs as Lee Roberts' 72 kill was narrowly bettered by an 82 from teammate James Stoodley.

Ten tons each for Rhys Castle and Archie Borlase gave Firkin Scholar a push in the right direction to secure a 6-5 win over Falstaff B.

Borlase was a 3-2 individual winner thanks in part to a leg in 12 darts and a 148 checkout, which was the best of the match.

That effort bettered an 84 combination by Nick Bryant for the defeated party, whilst the 180s in the contest were shared between the two teams as Dave Lee and Stephen Ebsworth both fired.

Ebsworth was also the hero of the hour as he was a 3-0 victor in the final singles rubber that decided the outcome.

Outshots of 81 from Dave Roberts and a 112 by Jon Parsons came in a 6-5 win for Roberts' Fawn A at Parsons' Compton Social.

Reece Mealin's 180 came in a 2-0 doubles win when pairing with Kobi Hayman to take 601 points in 24 darts, which all occurred in a 7-4 win for Legends Lounge A versus Steampacket.

Aiden Stenson's 100 checkout helped him to a 3-1 singles success, whilst Nick Miller's leg in 16 darts provided the platform from which he launched a 3-1 triumph.
