Fifteen three figure visits from Mike O'Brien helped confirm Tradesmans as Monday Premier League champions in a 9-2 victory at Colebrook.

In a match that Tradesmans needed to win, Scott Wapshott played a supporting role well with ten ton plusses, whilst Simon Washington fired ten tons overall.

Zak Smith and Nick Furneaux put up the best resistance to the top team with twelve tons for Smith and eleven more for Furneaux.

O'Brien and Lee Agar both added maximums to their evening's work, whilst Furneaux checked 127 in a single visit to better a 112 from Andrew White.

The Stonehouse outfit were 3-2 up going into O'Brien's individual game that was won 3-2 thanks to what turned out to be a crucial 17 darter.

That started a procession and singles clean sweep, which contained a 3-1 victory for Wapshott that saw legs tumble in 14 and 15 darts.

Dale Halford's two 180s and one more from Glenn Austin helped Bluebird B secure an emphatic 10-1 win over Duchy.

Austin also contributed to the highlights at the business end of legs with a 155 checkout that helped him to a 3-0 win, whilst Glenn Halford was a 3-1 winner thanks in part to a leg in 17.
