O'Brien Performance Aids Trades

O'Brien missed three match darts before checking in one from 40, which shows the relentless nature of the scoring phase of play.

Andrew Nation was the best performer for the defeated Devonport team with a brace of 180s with one coming in a win and the other in a defeat.

Tradesmans title rivals Victory closed the gap to the top to a single point after a routine 12-1 home win over Lugger.

Mark Hatherley also reached ten tons in a 7-6 loss for the Indian against Brewery Tap who had both Del Bryce and Sean Taylor hitting 180s during the match.

Kings Tamerton won 12-1 against Queen & Constitution with a 180 each for both teams coming from Dan Searle and Dean Pidsley respectively.

Veteran Richard Lynch paired with John Brownlow (27.05) to claim a 37 dart 1001 doubles game to exert the home team's dominance upon proceedings.

Dave Jones checked 164 in a single visit to set a top notch mark for the highest checkout of the season so far in Mainstone's 9-4 win over Octagon.

Jones also added a maximum whilst the least number of darts during the contest came from Simon Washington's (27.05) 37 dart singles leg.

Helen Stone checked 100 in a one visit to the board during her Ker St B team's 11-2 trouncing of Tradesmans B whilst Mike Parker hit the only maximum in a 7-6 defeat for Pennycross at home to Queens Arms.
