Plymouth-based Octagonals claimed a well-fought 5-4 win over league leaders Muff Boyz, as Neil White shone with his team's best average.

White (26.43) fired legs in 17, 14, and 16 darts during his notable 4-1 win over Chris Hunt in a game that saw three 180s, with the lion's share going to the defeated player.
Hunt's teammate Dave Witt (25.26) opened the night with a 4-1 win over Mike O'Brien (23.32), who checked a leg with a 78 out.

Mike Pearce (25.81) made it 1-1 with a 4-3 triumph that contained legs in 15 and 18 darts as well as a 180, and clutch finishing in the form of 76, 102, and 106 checkout to dispatch Kieran Peek (24.78).
Andy Steed (23.07) produced the old magic to bag a maximum and legs in 14 and 18 darts to better an out-of-sorts Lee Hellings.

Fred Goldsmith (24.15) surrendered a 2-0 lead before eventually winning a last leg decider over Andrew Denning (23.42), before White's heroics put the home team up for the first time by a 3-2 scoreline.
John Mann (26.03) took the Stonehouse side to the hill at 4-2 with a 4-0 triumph over Dan Bevan (23.07) in which Mann found a 120 kill and two legs in 18 darts.

Devon star Simon Washington (24.84) fired a 180 but succumbed to fellow A team player Paul Milford (26.63) in a 4-2 turnaround.
Tex Pearce (25.86) had a little wobble at 2-0 down before putting together four unanswered legs, including two 18 and one 17 darter, to give the home side the spoils in a 4-2 win over Charlie Wiles (23.49).

The evening was rounded off by Ben Chamberlain, who checked 126 for the highest finish in a 4-0 win against Alfie Ford, who couldn't fight off the dreaded double trouble in three of the four he lost.
