One Night In Harris

An 11-2 triumph for Falstaff at home in the Plymouth and District Friday Darts League against Pennycross was lit up by Steve Harris' eleven three figure scores.

Harris' stablemates Alex Brown, Al Jewell and Ben Moses (27.81) teamed in a trebles to put together a 36 dart leg that claimed the least number of darts of both the match, and week overall.

Such was the form of Jewell, he also helped himself to a maximum in that brilliantly crafted leg over the 1001 distance.

Chris Edgcumbe put eleven tons onto the scoreboard as Octagon recovered from a 5-0 deficit to claim a dramatic 7-6 win in their visit to King Billy.

Kieran Burns (27.05) was the only winner in a spell of seven defeats in eight games for his side, but did so in a cool 37 darts.

One of those seven won by the visitors from Stonehouse saw Steve Jones check 117 in a single visit for the highest checkout of the match.

Kian Brown was the only player to hear 180 called after throwing before Steve Daley fired his team to victory in a final leg shootout.

Victory Inn continued their climb up the standings after a 12-1 win against Cherry Tree that saw Glyn Wells plough a maximum and Shaun Williams check 72 in a single visit for the highest checkout of the match.

Del Bryce continues to pepper the league with 180s; hitting another in Legends Lounge's 9-4 success over Ker St B.

Lewis Bryne was the hero of the hour for Tradesmans B; winning the final game of a 7-6 success when the scores were tied at 6-6 in a visit to Mainstone.

Indian Inn were 9-4 winners at Ker St A whilst Kings Tamerton took advantage of leaders Tradesmans A's inactivity due to a bye with an 11-2 triumph over Grenville.
