Quinton Taylor (27.83) showed his undoubted class with legs in 17 and 18 darts in a 3-0 win that dominated the headlines for Victory A during an 8-3 win versus Kings Arms in the Steve Chapman 501 League.

The maximums in the contest were shared equally between the two teams as Taylor's teammates, Paul Goundry and Kelvin Rowe, matched the efforts from Paul Palmer and Reg Matthews.


Scott Lawrey showed his finishing power on no fewer than two occasions with three figure outshots of 100 and 113.

Thirteen ton plusses from Scott Wapshott included one of the four maximums in a 6-5 win for Cherry Tree B against their local Cherry Tree C rivals.


Other 180 hitters included efforts from teammates Mark Gilbery and Jason Pinkerton, whilst the only maxi by the designated hosts for the evening was plundered by Dave Lee.

Lee Hellings fired thirteen tons for the defeated side, whilst Steve Mills also contributed heavily in the scoring phase with eleven scores of a ton or more.


The best leg of 501 came from Wapshott in 15, which proved crucial in defeating Hellings 3-2, whilst a 111 combination out from Phil Houle claimed the best checkout of the contest.

Jack Heath rattled in thirteen scores of a ton or more but still found himself on the wrong end of a 6-5 loss as 180s from Andrew Jackson and Lee Bannister contributed to the win for Firkin Scholar.


Trademans had Kevin Evans in good nick with a 180 accenting his twelve ton haul that came in a close 6-5 defeat at Beacon Park.

Evans also showed decent form at the business end of legs with a 122 combo, whilst Beau Carter's maximum provided the main highlight for the victors.


Reg Cornish bagged twelve scores of a ton or more for Legends Lounge, but still saw his side slip to a 7-4 defeat at the hands of the visitors from Fawn A.

Mark Sargeant nailed the only 180 for the away side, whilst Mackenzie Sargeant showed one moment of his immense talent with an 84 combination out.


Eleven ton plusses from Tex Pearce during a 9-2 win for St Levans versus The Exchange included a Bull, 25, Bull, 125 finish.

Pearce also added to a trio of 180s for the victors as his brace complemented a solitary three treble visit from teammate Harry MacGregor.


King Billy's Lewis Byrne found scores of a ton or more on eleven occasions to drive home his team's 9-2 win over Bar Mez.

Teammate Brandon Hartley checked 82 in a single visit, whilst the only moment of solace by the visitors from Torpoint came in the form of Kev Dudbridge's 180.


John Mann's ten ton plusses provided the ammunition for Fawn B to claim an 11-0 win over Indian Inn that also saw Mann nail one of the three maximums.

Teammates Sean Taylor and Kev Seal both notched maximums to complete the trio, whilst Lee Agar's 88 kill was the top finish of all twenty-eight put away in the match.


Seal added a 15 darter to his 3-0 win, whilst Mann completed his night with a 3-0 triumph that contained a leg in just 14.

Two 180s from Chris Edgecombe accentuated an 11-0 win for Octagon against Victory Hammers, with teammate Steve Daley firing an 86 kill for the best finish of the matchup.


3-0 wins for the trio of Jayden Dodd, Robbie Bisgrove, and Dave Pethick contained contributions to the best legs of the match as Dodd's 18 darter was followed by legs in 17 by both Bisgrove and Pethick.

Lee Wickett, Kev Lofthouse and Cathy Lofthouse (26.70) took the first 801 leg in 30 darts for Cherry Tree D but still found themselves on the end of a 6-5 loss as Raffles prevailed in a final singles shootout.


Simon Wilbraham put on a 180 and a 15 dart leg in his 3-1 singles defeat before teammate Jordan Heath was a 3-0 winner in the final individual game.
