Robbie Aitken set a new high checkout mark for the highest checkout of the season in Plymouth City Super League Division A's game week 2 with a 160 kill that came in a 10-1 loss for Legends Lounge A versus Raffles B.

That effort meant a 122 from Danny Bull had to settle for second best in the contest, and he also helped himself to a 76 checkout and a maximum.

At the heart of everything good that came from the hosts was Harry Bull, who chalked up ten scores of a ton or more throughout the one sided matchup.

Glenn Halford fired four 180s on his way to sixteen three figure visits, but still found himself on the end of an 8-3 loss as Bluebird A were downed by Cherry Tree C.

Lee Roberts added a fifth maximum for the hosts, whilst at the heart of everything good from the away cohort was Cameron O'Brien with thirteen ton plusses.

Steve Towl provided decent cover fire with eleven scores of a ton or more, and Dave Hollow completed the top scoring charts with ten tons.

Towl added an 18 darter in his singles, but lost out in a last leg shootout to Roberts before Nathan Langdon fired a leg in 17 during a 3-1 win.

Halford nestled legs in 16 and 17 darts, but he was edged out by Frankie Stout in another closely fought 3-2 turnaround.

Andy Bates pummelled sixteen ton plusses into the dartboard for Cherry Tree A, but missed out on the double-yew as his team lost out 6-5 to Ford Inn.

John Mann and Lee Hellings were also both in good nick for the visitors with eleven and ten ton plusses each, including one each of the four 180s their team put onto the scoreboard.

Alfie Ford and Neil White were the other maximum hitters for the away team, whilst Scott Wapshott added his side's only three treble visit.

That effort helped Wapshott tick his ton tally over to the ten mark, with teammates Lee Rodmell and Dan Brazier the only players to outscore him amongst his cohort.

Brazier took the honour of top scoring with thirteen scores of a ton or more, whilst Rodmell's tally ended at twelve.

One of Rodmell's three figure visits to the board came in the form of a 109 checkout that pushed a 91 from White into second best for the contest.

White was a 3-0 winner thanks in part to a leg in 14, whilst Mann chalked up a leg in 13 darts on his way to a 3-1 triumph.

George Beckett's fifteen ton bonanza and ten more from Nick Miller provided the platform for Steampacket to claim an 8-3 win over Fawn A.

The 180s in the contest were shared between the two sides as Reg Matthews added a solitary effort to one more from Beckett.

Matthews also provided a 13 dart leg in the only leg he won during a 3-1 defeat that came at the hands of Miller.

Simon Washington provided as many as thirteen tons for Tradesmans, but that haul couldn't arrest his team's slide to a 9-2 defeat at the hands of Falstaff.

Chris Edgecombe also chipped in with ten ton plusses for the hosts, whilst the heavy artillery was fired on three fronts by the visitors.

The top scorer was Tony Tasker with twelve tons, whilst Quinton Taylor added eleven more to a ten ton haul from Kelvin Rowe.

A 70 combo from Rob May was only bettered by an 86 from Scott Cook, who also chalked up a 15 darter in a 3-1 singles success.

Ian Heggie blasted eleven three figure visits to lead Ker St A to an 8-3 win over Duchy A in a match that saw three maximums.

Heggie's stablemate, Paul Tackle, provided two of those, with the other falling the way of AJ Brunton for the defeated party.

Four mid range checkouts also dominated the headlines of this particular encounter, with the best provided by Roger Bailey's 110 kill.

Tackle added an 85 combo to his 18 darter, whilst Keith Walton and Ralph Lancaster threw respective 82 and 70 finishes.

Eleven ton plusses from Tyler Borthwick proved the difference maker for Raffles A as they prevailed 7-4 at Legends Lounge B.

Andy Malinowski provided the ammunition for the defeated team with eleven tons of his own, with his best effort coming from a 111 checkout.

Three of Malinowski's teammates secured 180s in the tie as Shaun Dring, Lee Hunter, and Matt Vosper all put up three treble visits.

Other noteworthy checkouts included a 99 from Hunter and a 94 kill by Borthwick's teammate Lewis Dare, who also netted a 14 dart leg in his 3-0 singles success.

180s from Paul Carpenter, Dave Johns, and Mike Tucker, as well as a 114 checkout from the latter, did the damage for Kings Arms B in a 10-1 win at Firkin Scholar.

The only noteworthy contribution from either side in a 7-4 win for Cherry Tree D versus Bluebird B was a 17 darter for Nick Bryant that came in a 3-0 singles success.
