Mark Shears pummelled a 160 checkout for Cherry Tree A in a last leg deciding 6-5 Steve Chapman 501 League win versus Falstaff.

Mike Whatley and Simon Washington were the joint top scorers for the victors with eleven tons, whilst Scott Lawrey weighed in with ten ton plusses for the defeated party.

Washington's tally would've been only ten if it wasn't for his maximum that was matched by teammates Paul Gavican and Jason Pinkerton, the latter of whom made it two to his name.

ree

Lawrey's stablemate Quinton Taylor found himself a 180, whilst all of the heroics at the business end of individual legs came in the final three singles rubbers.

Paul Goundry nailed a 16 darter but was unlucky to run into an inspired Pinkerton, who put away his winning legs in 18, 14, and 18 darts for a 3-2 win.

ree

Lawrey checked in 15 darts during his 3-1 win that left the game tied at 5-5 going into the final singles, which was won by Washington with the help of another 15 darter for a 3-2 win.

Lee Hellings (25.47) produced a magical 3-0 win and also ten tons, including one of the four maximums, to lead Cherry Tree B to an 8-3 win at Bar Mez.

ree

John Mann was also in good nick for the away side with a 180 on his way to ten tons, whilst teammates Nick Miller and Dave Lee also bagged themselves a three treble visit.

Lee netted the best leg of 501 in the contest with a 15 darter in his 3-0 win, whilst Lee Rodmell lit up the scoreboard for the defeated hosts with eleven tons, including a 108 checkout.

ree

The brilliance of Mike Nancholas saw him add a 94 checkout and an 18 dart leg to his fourteen tons, but he still somehow ended on the wrong side of a 7-4 defeat as Fawn A were downed by Legends Lounge A.

Most of the heavy artillery was provided by Reg Cornish, who added as many as eleven scores of a ton or more to the scoreboard.

ree

Cherry Tree D had Lee Agar netting a 145 finish on his way to thirteen tons in a 10-1 win over The Exchange that also saw teammate Phil Evans produce eleven ton plusses.

Thirteen ton plusses from Cameron O'Brien and eleven more from Billy Evans gave Cherry Tree C the platform from which to launch an 8-3 win at Plymstock Club.

ree

O'Brien's tally was ticked over to that mark by one of the three maximums as teammate Martin Pearson provided a second effort for the victors.

Martin Nicholas found a maximum visit for the defeated party, and his teammate Mark Bell was as prolific in the scoring phase as O'Brien, with thirteen tons of his own.

ree

Bell narrowly lost out to Dan Capel, who produced magic in the form of a leg in 18 darts during a 3-2 triumph over his rival.

Kev Lofthouse secured a 3-0 win thanks in part to a 102 checkout before O'Brien checked in 16 and 17 darts for another 3-0 success.

ree

A twelve ton haul for Mike Pearce helped decide the destination of a 6-5 win for St Levans over Octagon, which was won by Anna Pearce in the final individual game by a 3-1 scoreline.

Mike Pearce teamed well with Hayley Brant in the doubles phase of play, with a 22 darter over the 601 distance before a barrage of excellence that came in the individuals.

ree

Chris Edgecombe opened the singles with a 3-1 turnaround against Pearce that saw him take his only leg of the matchup in 16 darts and also managed a maximum.

Jayden Dodd ended his win with eleven tons, including a maximum, as his 17 dart leg proved crucial in deciding the outcome of a 3-2 success.

ree

Tex Pearce was also an eleven ton hitter, ending his 3-0 triumph with that total and a best leg of 18 darts, which played its part in securing that success.

Scott Cook added eleven tons to the scoreboard in a 9-2 win that saw as many as five maximums plundered between victors King Billy and Beacon Park.

ree

Ant Pearn's brace was added to by Paddy Archibald and Andrew Cook, whilst the only 180 of the matchup for the defeated team came from Jack Wilkinson.

Sitting nicely alongside Cook's maxi was a 15 dart leg that came in a 3-0 win, whilst teammate Brandon Hartley nailed the best checkout of 80.

ree

Raffles' 10-1 win at Victory saw Lewis Dare at the heart of everything good with two maximums on his way to eleven ton plusses.

Dan Brazier joined Dare in hitting a 15 dart 501 leg as the pair both added 3-0 wins to the scoreboard, whilst Brazier also managed a 156 checkout in his triumph.

ree

Eleven tons rained down from the arm of Jack McMinn, who helped Fawn B eventually get over the line in a 6-5 win.

McMinn was one of three 180 hitters for the visitors, as both Fred Goldsmith and Mackenzie Sargeant also contributed with a solitary effort each.

ree

The two best events at the business end came from Cleo Trelease's 138 checkout in her 3-1 win and Sargeant's 18 darter that came in a 3-2 loss.

The Sargeant defeat left the game result to be decided by Goldsmith, and he didn't disappoint his troops with a 3-0 success.

ree

AJ Brunton provided eleven scores of a ton or more, but that effort couldn't arrest Duchy Dragons' slide to an 8-3 loss at the hands of Firkin Scholar.

The trio of Rhys Castle, Lee Bannister, and Stephen Ebsworth (30.81) knitted together in the trebles phase of play with a 26 darter over the 801 distance.

ree

The finishing phase was where the away side provided their other moment of magic as Scott Heggie found a checkout of 112.

A Stonehouse derby game between Tradesmans and Duchy was dominated by the scoring of Mike O'Brien, who fired a 180 on his way to ten ton plusses.

ree

Whilst O'Brien found his feet in the scoring phase, it was teammate Kevin Evans who collected the best checkout honours with a 132 combination.

Two 180s from Ian Heggie and a leg in 17 by Mark Hatherley in his 3-2 win were not enough for Indian Inn as Cory Jonas navigated the last singles with a 3-1 triumph to give Queen & Constitution a 6-5 win.
