Four maximums by Quinton Taylor and two more by Stan Preen lit up Cherry Tree D's 7-4 Plymouth City Super League Division A win over Raffles B.

Kev Doel added his team's solitary maximum and also helped himself to a 78 checkout that was bettered by Taylor's stablemate Nick Bryant with an 87.

Taylor also secured a 13 dart leg in a 3-2 singles loss, whilst Dave Lee faired better after a 17 darter helped him to a 3-1 victory.

ree

Top scoring for the victors was Nick Bryant with thirteen ton plusses, whilst Taylor's foray of 180s topped his ton tally up to the twelve mark.

Keith Carter was also in good nick throughout the brilliant event, with ten scores of a ton or more for the home team.

Lee Hellings (26.84) secured a 3-0 triumph with the help of a 15 darter in a 10-1 victory for Octagon versus St Levans.

The other noteworthy legs included a 22 darter for John Mann and Andy Bates in the doubles, whilst Hellings paired with Alfie Ford (27.32) to produce 23 and 21 darters over the same 601 distance.

ree

Hellings also rammed home an 85 checkout to take the high finish honours overall, and he left the oche as the joint top scoring player.

Andy Bates matched Hellings' eleven ton haul throughout the match, whilst Neil White found ten scores of a ton or more in the contest to provide able backup fire.

ree

There were also two maximums in the contest, which were put away by Mann and Sean Taylor to complete what was a resounding victory.

Cherry Tree C's Nathan Langdon ended his night on as many as seventeen tons to lead his team to a 9-2 win at Legends Lounge A.

ree

Ryan Fuller was the biggest ton hitter for the defeated side with fourteen three figure visits, whilst two of his teammates bagged 180s.

Lee Hunter and Del Bryce were the recipients of '180' calls after throwing for the defeated team, and Langdon's teammate, Frankie Stout, notched for the victors.

ree

Four brilliant checkouts came in the match, with the best coming from Martin Pearson's 117 and the next best being a 114 for Langdon.

Hunter threw a 92 single visit combination for the hosts, whilst an 80 by Dave Hollow had to settle for fourth best.

A hotly contested 6-5 win for Bluebird A at Legends Lounge B saw Glenn Austin and Dale Halford end as joint top scorers with twelve tons each for the victors.

Simon Stevenson walked away from the board after matching that duodectet for the home side, whilst teammate Shaun Dring put up the only 180 of the contest.

ree

Checkouts of 116 and 86 lit up the business end as Rob Oak and Halford fired, whilst Glenn Halford's 14 darter put him on the way to a 3-0 win.

Thirteen three figure visits rained down from the arm of Mike Whatley to lead Ford Inn to a 9-2 home triumph over King Billy A.

ree

Dan Brazier played his supporting role well with eleven ton plusses, whilst Paul Gavican also chipped in with a ten ton haul.

Paul Palmer fired twelve scores of a ton or more for the defeated party, whilst six maximums were shared equally between the two teams.

ree

Palmer added a solitary effort to a brace from teammate Paul Goundry, with Whatley, Gavican and Ant Pearn securing 180s for the hosts.

At the business end, Whatley's 15 darter came in a 3-0 singles win, whilst Paddy Archibald's 110 checkout bettered a 72 from Mark Shears.

ree

Marc Webber ended his night for Steampacket with twelve ton plusses, which helped secure a 6-5 win over Tradesmans.

As the scoreline suggests, it wasn't all one way traffic as Simon Washington provided an eleven ton tally, including a maximum.

ree

Jodie Hawton made it two three treble visits for the away side, whilst three ton plus checkouts headlined the business end.

Rob May's 160 kill gave him the best finish of the match and the week overall, whilst 132 and 114 combos from George Beckett and Phil Taylor provided the other two.

ree

Beckett also ticked off the best leg of 501 in the whole contest with a leg in 15 that helped him over the line to a 3-1 victory.

Ten scores of a ton or more from Reg Cornish provided the platform for Legends Lounge C to secure a 9-2 win at Kings Tamerton.

ree

A 180 from Mike Trim and a 96 singles visit checkout couldn't arrest Fawn A's slide to a 6-5 loss at the hands of Indian Inn A, who had Harry Bull firing a 100 kill.
