Sean Taylor (30.67) produced a dominant display for Plymouth City Super League Division A champions Octagon in their 11-0 drubbing of Kings Tamerton, with a 3-0 win that saw legs tumble in 16 and 14 darts.

The home team's modus operandi revolves around getting out of the traps early, and this was no more apparent than when John Mann, Alfie Ford, and Taylor (25.67) took their 1001 trebles in 39 darts.

In the second leg of the match, Neil White, Mark Williams, and Lee Hellings (27.05) put together a 37 darter over the same distance.

Taylor returned to the oche to nail a 180 in a 2-0 doubles win when pairing with Mann before Hellings and Ford put together a 601 leg in 19 darts during another 2-0 success.

White and Williams heard 'game shot' called after throwing 23 darts in the final doubles rubber, and the excellence didn't stop at the end of the team phase of play.

ree

Hellings put up a leg in 18 darts during his 3-0 win and walked away from the board with seventeen ton plusses to his name.

Taylor's second 180 of the tie came in his aforementioned victory before White added the third and final three treble visit in another 3-0 success to tick his ton tally over to the thirteen mark.

Mann, who ended his night on ten tons, lost a leg in a 3-1 win, but more than made up for it with a 100 checkout and legs put away in 17 and 16 darts in his notable triumph.

George Beckett (27.83) added a brace of 15 darters and a 104 checkout in a 3-0 win that helped Steampacket to an 8-3 success over Legends Lounge C.

ree

Added to his twelve ton plus haul were a 180 and a 103 kill that came in the team phase of play, whilst teammate Marc Webber netted a 112 three dart combination out shot that bettered both Beckett's efforts.

Nick Miller put his name in the 180 column of the sheet with a solitary visit, and the best from the away side came in the form of a 180 from Kieran Harris and Charlie Crossfield's 77 kill.

Kings Arms B's 6-5 win over King Billy A saw Dave Johns (26.84) produced a leg in 15 darts to round off a superb 3-0 singles win.

Lee Doncaster's twelve ton haul wasn't enough to arrest King Billy A's slide to defeat, whilst teammate Paul Goundry ended his night with a respectable eleven tons.

ree

That tally that was matched by Steve Mills and Johns for the victors, and Paul Hendy also helped himself to one moment of magic with an 86 checkout in a 3-2 loss to Tony Tasker.

The leg that proved crucial in that affair came in 17 darts, and Kev Lofthouse rounded his night off with a 3-1 singles win that saw him put away 116 at the first time of asking.

Mike Whatley (26.37) produced magic for Ford Inn in their 8-3 success over Cherry Tree C with his best leg coming in 15 darts.

Scott Wapshott led the way in the scoring phase with a 180 rounding off his thirteen ton haul, and he also nailed a 17 darter in a 3-1 singles success over Nathan Langdon.

ree

The big hitting for the defeated side came from Langdon with ten ton plusses, and teammate Frankie Stout added a maximum for his side.

The two best checkouts of the night came from Ant Pearn with an 83 kill that was beaten into second place by a 113 combo from Steve Towl.

ree

Eighteen scores of a ton or more from Simon Stevenson gave Legends Lounge B the platform from which to launch a 9-2 win over Raffles B.

Andy Malinowski played his support role very well with twelve visits of a ton or more, whilst the team put together three ton plus checkouts.

ree

The best of which was a 144 from Shaun Dring that also took the highest checkout of the week prize across all fixtures played.

That mammoth effort by Dring meant a 111 outshot from Stevenson, and a 106 by Dan Maddocks had to settle for second best.

ree

Dave Pethick led the way in the scoring phase with eleven three figure visits, but still found himself on the wrong end of an 8-3 loss as Fawn A were downed by Bluebird A.

The trio of Glenn Austin, Lee Roberts, and Glenn Halford all reached ten tons to lead the attack, whilst Halford and Roberts joined James Stoodley in the 180 column of the sheet.

ree

Roberts also showed he has more about him than just scoring with a 104 checkout and a 3-0 win for Stoodley contained a leg in 17 darts.

Cherry Tree D's 11-0 win over St Levans saw Nick Bryant shine with ten tons, whilst Quinton Taylor dominated the business end of legs.

ree

A 3-0 win for Taylor saw him notch a 95 combination out and legs in 15 and 18 darts to round off a one sided affair.
