The Johns Adonis Headlines Kings Rout

Fifteen tons from Dave Johns rained down onto the scoreboard in Kings Arms 9-2 success over Victory Hammers in the Steve Chapman 501 League.

Johns teammate Paul Palmer supported him well with ten tons whilst Cleo Trelease and Ryan Harris both provided brief respite from a tough night for the visitors.

Trelease checked 84 in a single visit and added a 17 darter during her 3-1 win that was only bettered by a leg in 16 from Harris during his 3-2 loss to Johns.

Billy Evans added a 180 to his thirteen ton haul as Cherry Tree B put Duchy to the sword by an 11-0 score line to light up their early title credentials.

Evans' teammate Paul Gavican added a checkout of 101 during one of five individual games that ended 3-0 to the hosts.

Thirteen tons from Simon White couldn't arrest Bar Mez's slide to an 8-3 defeat to King Billy who had Andrew Cook in decent form with eleven tons.

Cook's tally was propped up by a 120 checkout that pushed Antony Hayman's 114 three darter into second best of the contest.

Hayman added to George Jones' 180 with one of his own whilst Scott Town provided his team's only maximum of the matchup overall.

Cook paired with Rhys Julian to put away 601 in just 17 darts in the doubles phase before carrying on that blistering form in the singles.

A 3-0 win for Cook was littered with legs in 17 and 14 darts whilst Jones was also in good nick during a 3-2 triumph that contained 17 and 18 darters.

Frankie Stout continued his brilliant form with a 3-2 success of his own that saw an 18 darter prove to be crucial in deciding the destination of the team point.

Lewis Byrne heard scores of a ton or more called thirteen times but still found himself on the wrong end of a hiding as Tradesmans were downed 9-2 by Cherry Tree C.

Nick Bryant did most of the running for the victors with twelve tons whilst Lee Hellings added ten tons of his own.

The four 180s were shared between the two teams as Hellings joined teammate Steve Mills in hitting one whilst Byrne and Jordan Grimshaw added to that duo with one each.

Jack McMinn's eleven ton salvo provided the ammunition to lead Bluebird to a 6-5 success over Fawn A in a match that saw McMinn nail an 18 darter in his 3-0 success.

Mike Bassett added ten tons of his own whilst teammate Liam Taylor's 3-1 helped make the score line respectable after his 106 checkout contributed one of the trio he won in the final singles rubber.

Eleven tons were added to the board by both John Mann and Andy Bates in a 10-1 win for reigning champions Fawn B over Cherry Tree A.

Fred Goldsmith was also prominent for the Greenbank side with ten tons whilst the main resistance from the visitors came from Dan Brazier's ten ton haul of his own.

Goldsmith's tally would've been stranded at eight tons if it wasn't for his two maximums that joined a solitary effort by Mann.

Simon Washington's 141 checkout was the best plundered by anyone in this match and across all fixtures whilst his individual game wasn't bettered by anyone.

Washington (28.90) added legs in 18 and 15 darts in a 3-0 win whilst Mann (28.36) heard game shot called after throwing 17 an 15 darts during his win by the same score line.

Goldsmith found his team's other 15 darter in the individual phase during a 3-1 win whilst the 601 doubles saw Mann team with Agar for a leg in just 20 darts.

Ten tons from Mike Pearce and a 90 checkout was the main highlights of a 7-4 win for St Levans during their visit to Cherry Tree D.

Two 180s from Alfie Ford and another by Steven Smout were the best bits of a 10-1 success for Octagon in their visit to Beacon Park.

Checkouts provided the main moments of magic for Victory A as Paul Goundry's 126 bettered a 117 by teammate Scott Lawrey in a 9-2 win at home to Indian Inn.

Goundry added to his fine finish by putting the only three treble visit of the entire match onto the scoreboard whilst Kelvin Rowe's 18 darter in his 3-0 win was the best leg of the tie.

Victory Fireballs picked up their first win of the campaign with a 6-5 success over Ivybridge CC that contained a Phil Ingram 120 checkout.
