Few sayings fit Ralph Lancaster better than the adage ‘form is temporary, class is permanent’ — proven when he nailed a 170 checkout for Ker St A in the Plymouth City Super League Division B.

That came in a 9-2 win over Kings Arms A, who had Dave Algar in decent form with a leg in 16 that helped him to a 3-1 singles success.
Twelve tons from Tom Full and eleven more by teammate Archie Borlase fired King Billy B to a 6-5 win at Victoria.

Full added a 180 to his 112 outshot that saw Steve McAteer's 103 combo into the bridesmaid place, whilst Full and Borlase both added notable short legs.
Full's 16 darter came in a 3-2 loss, whilst a leg in 17 by Borlase helped him over the line to a triumph by a 3-0 scoreline.

Ten tons rained down from the arm of Adam Fell, and that total kept the scoreline ticking over as leaders Raffles A secured an 8-3 away win at Staddiscombe.
93 and 72 finishes were secured by Kori Truscott and Seth Thompson, whilst the home side might consider themselves a little unlucky with seven of the eleven decided by a solitary leg.

Alan Brady's 130 outshot and a 98 from Jack Heath were fired in a 7-4 home win for Heath's Duchy A versus Brady's Fawn B.
Geoff Norman and Dave Carroll added maximums to a 7-4 win for Norman's Hyde Park against Carroll's visitors from Herbert B.

Norman's teammate, Rick Trinder, bagged a 114 combination out, whilst Carroll's stablemate Jack Whiteley finished at the first time of asking from 70.
Three treble visits came from the arm of both Scott Heggie and Rhys Castle, giving Firkin Scholar the platform from which to launch a 10-1 win over Ker St B.

Heggie also secured the game high checkout of 112, which meant Alan Jones' effort of 80 for the defeated team ended up only good enough for second best.
A 96 checkout from Koby Dixon couldn't stop Herbert A from succumbing to a 6-5 loss against Duchy B, who had Ian Langdon winning the game in a final leg shootout by a 3-2 scoreline.
