Title Holders Season Back On Track

The least number of darts of the week in the Plymouth & District Friday Darts League went to the Tradesmans A and Jayden Dodd (32.29) who produced a masterful 31 dart leg for the third lowest of the season so far.



Dodd's team went on to dominate the match 12-1 against Queens Arms with both Dodd and teammate Mike O'Brien reaching ten tons for the evening.


O'Brien (27.81) took his singles in 36 darts, which was bettered by Jaden Whitting (28.60) who notched himself a 35 dart 1001 leg for a third impressive singles triumph of the contest.



O'Brien's 80 finish was the highest of the match whilst Dodd added the Stonehouse team's only maximum with Andy Tremaine scoring the only noteworthy contribution of the match for the defeated team.


Kieran Burns lit up the Victory's 10-3 win over Pennycross with a twelve ton haul that included the game's only maximum.



Burns (29.44) also helped himself to a 34 dart 1001 leg in the singles phase; a game that matched by a 34 dart doubles by Jordan Turner and Andrew Nation (29.44) in King Billy's 12-1 win over Ker St B.


Ryan Ring showed his finishing prowess with the highest checkout of this contest and there was as many as four 180s with Turner, Nation and Wayne Hobbs all adding to that total for the victors.



Martin Dean chalked up the Ker St's only maximum during eleven straight defeats before Robbie Bisgrove added the Devonport team's only point of the match in the final leg of the match.


Simon Washington (26.34) won his singles game in 38 darts during Octagon's 11-2 win at bottom team Ker St A.



Washington's 96 checkout was the highest of the week's play and the Octagon marksman also added to with a maximum to round off a superb individual performance.


Dave Ryde added a maximum for leaders Brewery Tap as they won 12-1 against second bottom Lugger who are now twelve without a win.


Mainstone triumphed 7-6 over Kings Tamerton whilst Indian Inn were 11-2 winners against Tradesmans B and Queen & Constitution won 8-5 at Grenville.
