Un-Brian-lievable Darts From Lumsdon

Brian Lumsdon showed there's plenty of life in the old dog yet with a stunning display for Johnno Legends in a 7-4 Plymouth Open League Division A defeat at the hands of Fortescue.



Lumsdon put away legs of 501 in 15 and 18 darts in a 2-1 singles win that also included the only maximum of the matchup.


Lumsdon's teammate Tyler Borthwick showed his class throughout the contest with ten tons whilst the only moment of notoriety for the away side came from James Grand with an 87 combination out.



Phil Hoyle's three treble visit and a 130 checkout by Graham White provided the fireworks for Beacon Park in a 9-2 win over Lugger A.


Checkouts of 101 and 76 by Will Broome and Jack Wilkinson lit up the Prince Maurice derby that was won by Wilkinson's Prince Maurice FC by an 8-3 score line over Broome's Prince Maurice pub.



A 102 checkout from Cameron O'Brien and a 180 by Mike Tregenza couldn't arrest Mainstone A's slide to a 9-2 defeat against Royal Naval Arms.


The victors' had Matt Abbot and Shane Roberts in a good nick as they plundered a 99 checkout and maximum respectively.



Ron Knight and Lee Pare were 180 hitters for Pennycross in a 7-4 triumph in their local derby clash with Cherry Tree B.


Falstaff had Chris Hooper and Alex Brown in good nick with a 120 finish and a maximum coming in a 7-4 triumph over Fawn A.



Legends Lounge OGs recovered from 2-0 and 3-1 down to win 7-4 whilst Lugger B claimed an 8-3 success over St Levans to complete the top tier fixtures.

In Division B, an 18 darter and a 140 checkout were provided by the arm of Antony Hayman in a 9-2 win for King Billy A over The Herbert.



A 105 three dart combination finish came from Jed Hamlyn for Kings Arms, but that couldn't arrest their slide to a 6-5 defeat against Mainstone B.


Dan Brown-Martin's 81 combination out was only bettered by an 83 by Paul Nash as Scott Town got Agaton over the line with a 2-1 singles win when throwing last in a 6-5 success over Nash's Weston Mill.



Bluebird and King Billy B were 7-4 winners against Albemarle and Shakespeare whilst Fawn B produced a 6-5 success versus Tap & Barrel.


Leaders Ker St B continued their title hunt with an 8-3 win at Duchy and Cherry Tree C won the derby 8-3 versus their A team.
