Wells Has Glyn There, Done That
Glyn Wells (29.44) secured the week's least number of darts with a fine 34 dart 1001 individual leg in an 11-2 triumph for Victory over Queens Arms in the Plymouth and District Friday Darts League.
Wells' Teammate Shaun Williams reached double figures in tons whilst Kieran Burns checked 78 in a single visit to the board for the highest effort of the contest.
There was also a maximum for each team with Kevin Evans and Steve Harris striking a single effort a piece in the match.
Mark Gavican notched a brace of 180s; two of three for his Mainstone team who won 7-6 away at Ker St B.
Mainstone were as many as 5-2 up before four of the first five singles made it 6-6 and Gavican held his nerve last on to give his team a second success of the campaign.

Despite ending on the wrong side of a drubbing, Barry Pope was the only 180 hitter of this tie in vain.

That effort beat Dave Meyrick's 105 checkout for the defeated team whilst Meyrick also added a maximum of his own.
Tony Lamerton was the hero of the hour in the contest as he won the final tie last on with the scores tied at 6-6 to give the Stonehouse team the spoils of war.
Kings Tamerton were also big winners by an 11-2 scoreline in their visit to Lugger after Collin Lynch checked 70 in a single visit to the board.
