You've Scott It!

Scott Wapshott's stunning seventeen ton haul for Trademans in a 7-4 Monday Premier League success over King Billy A dominated a high class affair.

Wapshott's tally was accented by the highest checkout of the match of 120 as well as one of the five maximums added between both teams.

Wapshott's finish meant checkouts of 113 and 116 by teammate Simon Washington had to settle for second and third best.

Antony Hayman was the next highest scoring player with fifteen tons including one of the two maximums for his team whilst teammate Andrew Cook fired thirteen three figure scores for the defeated side.

Alec Turner added the away team's other 180 whilst Wapshott's stablemate John Mann put up a maximum to his ten ton haul and Fred Goldsmith claimed the fifth and final three treble visit.

Cook and Turner put up a 601 leg in the doubles phase and after Cook dispatched Goldsmith 3-0 thanks in part to a 14 darter, his team was 4-2 up and cruising.

However, Wapshott roared his team's comeback with a 3-2 win that contained a crucial 16 darter before Mann was successful 3-0 with the help of legs in 17 and 18.

The comeback was completed before Lee Agar stepped up against Hayman and Agar put the cherry on top of the victory with a famous scalp.

Hayman checked legs in 16 and 13 darts but was still downed 3-2 thanks to what turned out to be crucial 18 darter by his opponent.

Thirteen tons by Glenn Halford provided the ammunition for Bluebird B to claim a 7-4 success over Indian Inn that saw one maximum and four ton plus checkouts by the twelve on display.

Halford added the 180 to his tally whilst teammate Lee Roberts checked the best of those finishes with a 141 that was the best of the match and the week's fixtures.

There was a 100 checkout for either side as Harry Bull and Tony Teal both matched each other's efforts to take joint third the finishing stakes during a high class matchup.

And Roberts' finish narrowly bettered a 138 by Danny Bull in a 3-2 defeat that also saw Bull check a leg in just 12 darts for the best leg of the night.

Zak Smith and Dan Giles both added eleven tons for Colebrook to lead their team to a 7-4 success over Octagon B.

Their teammate Andy Bond fired the only maximum of the tie whilst as the score line suggests, it certainly wasn't all one way traffic.

Veterans Steve Daley and Dave Wyatt added ten tons each whilst Chris Edgecombe's contribution for the defeated team was a 14 darter in his 3-0 individual success.

Paul Gavican's ten tons led King Billy B to a 10-1 win over Bluebird A with Gavican's tally propped up by one of the two maximums his team plundered.

The other came from the arm of Mark Sleet whilst Scott Cook's 128 three dart combination out shot was the best checkout of all thirty-three in the game.

A Liam Taylor 180 came in the very last singles rubber of a 6-5 win for Victory at Cherry Tree B, which saw Taylor home to a 3-2 success with the scores locked at 5-5.

After George Beckett's 3-0 win that contained a 17 darter, the hosts looked home and dry at 5-2 up before that Taylor victory was the culmination of four straights singles ties.

A 10-1 win for Octagon A at home versus Cherry Tree A saw the two main highlights being a 21 dart 601 leg by Alfie Ford and Paul Hendy to join a 114 checkout by Gary Clarke.
