Mark Shears was the shining light for Victory A as he chalked up thirteen ton plusses in an 8-3 win over St Levans.

Tex Pearce equalled that impressive haul for the visitors whilst Cameron Pickard and Sarah Brown both netted a maximum a piece for each side.

A 10-1 win for the Octagon over Kings Arms A was dominated by Neil White's thirteen tons whilst Fred Goldsmith bagged the highest checkout prize for the entire league with a fine 154 on his way to ten tons.

The Stonehouse team also managed two maximums with Lee Hellings and Alfie Ford both striking on a dominant night overall.

King Billy had Antony Hayman in vintage form as he hit twelve tons in a 9-2 win for the league leaders over Bluebird Bandits.

Hayman (30.06) also added legs of 15, 18 and 17 in a 3-0 individual win and was one of five players from the Devonport team to hit a maximum.

Hayman's teammates Paul Hoare, Scott Wapshott, Mark Yeoman and Jason Pinkerton made up the quintet of 180 hitters whilst Hayman's 91 checkout was the highest of the match.

Paul Palmer added his name to the list of honours with a 17 dart leg in his 3-0 win with that leg only beaten by a second 15 dart leg; this time by Wapshott in his 3-0 triumph.

Lee Roberts joined Masters in the 180 column whilst Glenn Austin showed his class with a 17 dart leg that was the lowest of the match.

No team ever went more than a single leg up before Glenn Halford - who managed ten three figure scores of his own - blew away a tough opponent 3-0 in the final tie of the match to give his team the win.

Kev Searle's 88 finish for the Plympton team was the main highlight of an honest, battling performance from the defeated side.

Despite ending on the wrong side of a 6-5 defeat, Simon Kelly was in top form with eleven tons during Saltram's away loss to Cherry Tree.

Kelly's teammate Dave Algar produced a 103 checkout that was usurped to the highest of the match by John Greatrex' 124 for the Pennycross team.

Greatrex also notched the only maximum of the contest whilst Stephen Mills stunned an in form Kelly with a 16 dart leg in his 3-1 victory.

Dave Lee was another prominent performer for the Cherry Tree as he top scored with ten ton plusses overall for the victors.

Victory C's 10-1 win was dominated by Paddy Archibald and Scott Cook's ten tons a piece as the pair shared three of the team's six maximums; Cook with the lion's share.

Cook (28.90) won his game 3-0 thanks in part to legs of 15 and 18 darts whilst his brother Andrew won by the same scoreline with the help of 15 and 17 darters.

Andrew Cook added his name to the 180 column whilst teammate Paul Goundry netted a brace of efforts and a 17 dart leg of his own in another 3-0 win.

Scott Cook's 92 checkout was the highest of a barrage of top tungsten for the Honicknowle team who sit comfortably fourth in the standings with very little wriggle room either way.

Three 180s was the main highlight of a 9-2 win for Ker St over Kings Arms B with Paul Carpenter and Martyn Down striking for the defeated team.

Down and Carpenter's teammate Roger Backway helped himself to the least number of darts honours with a fine 16 dart leg in his 3-0 win whilst Ralph Lancaster hit the other maximum for the triumphant side.

Lancaster's stablemate, Pete Lamerton, was also in good form with a 116 checkout being the biggest effort of a good night of darts for the Devonport team.
