Packet B win 10-1 and only team to hit double figures

STEAM Packet B were the biggest winners of the week in the Monday Premier League and restricted Prince Maurice B to just a single point when winning 10-1, aided by a solid 3-1 victory from Neil White (25.05) in 18, 21 and 21.

John Mann top scored with 15 throws of a ton or more, which included two outshots of 100, as Porters A defeated Maritime B 9-2 while The Bluebird won on the road and overcame City Social 7-4.

Railway Inn returned from Steam Packet A with a 9-2 victory and had Rich Coombs (100x13) top scoring and Alan Masters making a kill of 122.

PLAUDITS: Mark Hatherley won the plaudits for a good performance when winning 3-1 in 21, 19 and 15 and taking out finishes of 118 and 121.

Indian Inn A were 7-4 winners away at Firkin Scholar but not before Mark Hatherley earned the plaudits for the hosts.

He won his singles 3-1 in 21, 19 and 15 and top scored with 16 throws of a ton or more which included out shots of 118 and 121.

Gary Phillips (100x12) was solid throughout for Brookside A as they won 9-2 at Indian Inn B while Alfie Ford notched a brace of 180s for Octagon in their 9-2 defeat by Prince Maurice A.

Brookside B were 8-3 winners when hosting Ford Hotel and had Nick Bryant taking legs in 17 and 15 before going on to a 3-1 victory.
