Dan The Legends Man

Dan Jewell fired three maximums in the Legends Lounge Premier League 2 during an outstanding 7-5 win over Simon Wilbraham.

That win leaves Jewell still in touch in the title race in third but still eleven off the top with a game in hand on the top player.

Wilbraham certainly wasn't overawed or disgraced by his opponent and fired two 104 checkouts in the narrow defeat.

Darren Smith put what looks to be the final nail in Mark Williams title hopes as Smith bested Williams by a 7-3 score line.

Long term friends, Steve Mills and Nick Miller, clashed with Miller's 180 proving to be crucial in deciding the 7-5 win over his buddy.

Liam Taylor's 130 checkout was the best finish of anybody playing in Premier League 2 but it wasn't enough to get him over the line.

Sarah Brown came out of that particular clash with a 7-6 win, in which her 102 kill appeared to be crucial in riposte to Taylor's big checkout and maximum to boot

In Taylor's second outing of the night, Andrew Cook asserted his dominance of this league with a 7-4 win that contained a 118 checkout and maximum.

Cook was pushed all the way in his second clash by Brown but narrowly came out with a 7-6 success over his Cornwall county teammate to leave Cook six clear at the summit.

In Premier League 1, Tom Graham's 131 kill was the best checkout of the week and one of only two legs he won again Sean Taylor during a 7-2 reversal.

Both Taylor and Graham added 180s in that clash whilst Dave Hollow kept a two point gap over Taylor with a 7-0 win over Friday night teammate James Ewing.

Richie Noel picked up a much needed win in his quest to push away from last place in the division as he overcame Warren Page 7-4.
