Monday Premier now boast four checkouts of 170

TERESA Brookshaw (pictured) became the fourth player in the Monday Premier League to achieve the highest possible finish of 170. Her feat came in a 3-0 singles victory, inspiring Indian Inn B to a 7-4 success away at Hyde Park Social Club.

Steam Packet B are the new leaders and boast a three-point advantage over the chasing pack after inflicting an 11-0 whitewash on their stablemates Steam Packet A with Neil White (100x11) as their leading marksman.

Three teams are tied in second place which include Porters A who won by the narrowest of margins on their visit to Plympton Cons.

Brewery Tap are also in the mix after they won 7-4 away at Octagon B with Antony Hayman (100x12) as their top scorer and Victory A make up the second placed trio after coming from 3-1 behind to win 7-4 at Prince Maurice A.

Gary Phillips (100x13) and Darren Collis won their 601 doubles in two straight legs, with their best being claimed in 18.

Stewart Roberts (100x12) was on target for Cherry Tree B as they won 7-4 away at Victory Inn B while Indian Inn A defeated Prince Maurice B 8-3.

Maritime won by the odd game in 11 at Firkin Scholar and Cherry Tree also won on the road, achieving an 8-3 success at The Bluebird.

Octagon Social Club A secured all but one of the 11 points that were on offer against Ford Hotel, the one point that eluded them being a doubles win for Aaron Blanche (100x13) and Paddy Archibald.

The Tradesman had Gary Whittles (100x13) top scoring in their 9-2 success away at Porters B and also received good service from Paul Tackle who won his singles aided by a 15-dart leg.

Best for Porters was Matt Nicholson who emerged a 3-2 winner, aided by a leg in 14.

Notable checkouts were achieved by: Tom Sainsbury (150), Danny Bull (117), Pete Cornish (116), Tony Teal (114).
