Borthwick was defeated 3-1 despite an 18 darter whilst Tony Teal modest 74 outshot claimed the high checkout honours for the match.

George Beckett's twelve ton tally couldn't arrest Steampacket's slide to an 8-3 defeat at the hands of King Billy in the Devonport derby.

Beckett fired one of the three maximums on his way to that total whilst the cherry on top of teammate Marc Webber's ten tons was a 124 high checkout.

Despite ending on the wrong side of a heavy loss, Will Broome and Dave Hollow managed to put up eleven tons in the contest each.

Eleven tons from Reg Matthews, including the game's only maximum, still wasn't enough to give Saltram their first win of a ten game old campaign as the home side were downed by Bluebird B 7-4.

Ton plus checkouts rained down from the Compton outfit as Nige Bassett's 109 was only bested by a 111 from Dale Halford.
