Patriots extend lead with 11-0 drubbing of Musketeers

THREE teams won in double figures, including Porters Patriots who extended their lead at the top of the Porters Function Room 501 Top 20 League to 13 points.

They won 11-0 away at Maritime Musketeers, scoring 64 tons in the process while second placed Maritime Misfits were 9-2 winners at Porters Pretenders.

Kings Arms secured maximum points when hosting Fawn A, inspired by Dave Algar (100x14) and Warren Gordon (100x12) while there was also an 11-0 victory for Brewery Tap.

They overcame Maritime Nutters and had Kieran Burns (26.84) winning 3-0 in 19, 16 and 21.

Torpoint Cons trailed Fawn B 4-2 but won four on the bounce to win the match 6-5. The revival included a 3-0 success for Lee Rodmell (pictured), aided by the week’s highest checkout of 138.

Andrew Nation top scored with 13 ton plus throws which included three maximums, inspiring The Office to an 8-3 success against The Clifton.

Victory Inn B won the last two singles to edge out Indian Inn 6-5 while Victory Inn A defeated Cherry Tree 8-3.
