Dare Dreaming Of Premier Title

A bumper second edition of the Legends Lounge Premier League got under way in earnest as thirty-six players turned out in the hope of being crowned champion.



Lewis Dare showed his undoubted class with the highest checkout of week one when plundering 119 in a single visit during in a 7-1 success over Richie Noel in Premier League 1.


Dare also added a solitary 180 to his evening's work whilst there was a trio of three treble visits in a 7-0 success for Neil White over Reece Day with White defeating his opponent in the maximum stat by two to one.



Del Bryce was another to notch a brace of maximums but he fell short against James Ewing as Ewing plundered a 180 of his own in a 7-6 success.


Sean Taylor was another maximum man as he put one 180 onto the scoreboard in a 7-0 win over Warren Page whilst Dave Hollow won 7-3 against Scott Wardle.



Reigning champion of the format, Scott Hutchinson, showed why he is once again amongst the favourites with a 106 checkout and a 180 in a 7-4 success over Ben Waters.


Sean Burkitt started his campaign off with a 7-2 triumph over Dave Ryde and Chris Edgecombe came through a 7-3 winner in his rubber against Tom Graham.



In Premier League 2, Andrew Cook tops the first week standings after two maximums led him to a 7-0 success over Joshua James.


Level with Cook is Dan Jewell after his 7-0 win against Robbie Aitken whilst Liam Taylor sits third after he nailed a maximum in his way to a 7-1 success over Kelly Burkitt.



Darren Smith added a 180 of his own in a 7-2 triumph over Dan Giles whilst Nick Cordrey was also a 7-2 winner against Chris Harper.


Nathan Langdon ploughed in a maximum that turned out to be crucial in deciding his 7-6 victory against Jayden Dodd.



Adam Hill was also a winner by the odd leg in thirteen after his 7-6 triumph over Darren Savory whilst Sarah Brown starting her campaign with a solid 7-3 success against Damian Chalmers.
